Villages are supportive communities of students, faculty and staff members who share your interests
and goals. Each Village offers events and fun activities, along with information and
services that are relevant to your major and goals.
Borrow a laptop and connect with free Wi-Fi, use the computer lab, or reserve a group
study room with a big-screen monitor for working together. The Library has 76,000
books, plus streaming videos and online databases for research.
De Anza has 17 intercollegiate sports teams – nine for women and eight for men – and
has won the Coast Conference All Sports Trophy for 12 years in a row. Our student
athletes have a high transfer rate to four-year schools.
Learning Communities are a great way to connect with a network of classmates, teachers
and advisers who share a common interest, background or experience.
De Anza is committed to engaging students in civic learning. You’ll find opportunities
to build leadership skills and gain real-world experience with the Vasconcellos Institute
for Democracy in Action and other campus programs.
De Anza is the top Silicon Valley college in numbers of students transferring to four-year
schools, and is always at or near the top statewide in community college transfers
to UC and CSU campuses.
