About Me

My name is Kimberlee Andrews-Bingham. Although I hold a MBA, I also hold a MSW and am currently preparing to defend my dissertation to receive my doctoral degree. I work at a community college in Michigan where I am a Department Chair of Industrial Trades Education.

I work with a lot of manufacturers to help them asses and develop training for their employees, and manage a large staff comprised of Professors, part-time instructors, and administrators. These individuals are members of two separate unions, but some are also not part of any union at all.

Previously I worked in Michigan's state government, but also nonprofit organizations in the city of Detroit, at the University of Michigan, in philanthropy at the WK Kellogg Foundation, and in the for-profit sector at the Kellogg Company. I also grew up in a small family business and have worked as a private consultant.

This wide variety of work environments and experiences both domestically and abroad has presented me with the opportunity to understand first-hand the broad and sometimes complicated HR practices, laws, etc. discussed in my HR classes.
