About Me
Success requires making the most of what we are, for the benefit of others as well as ourselves - Tom Morris
Biography
I'm a Business instructor at De Anza College. I started my career at Lockheed Missiles and Space (which became Lockheed Martin) and then joined Applied Materials where I spent most of my career in new product design, test and launch. I opened the first Wingstop Restaurant in the San Francisco Peninsula in San Jose and later built and operated two more in the area. In my spare time, I serve as a city councilman in Saratoga. As an instructor, my main focus is on student success, equity and empowerment. I feel it is important for students to realize they have the capacity for change…not only within themselves but in the communities, organizations, and institutions they touch.
I am a second-generation Italian-American raised here in the Bay Area. I enjoy spending time with my two children and dog. I also enjoy boating, waterskiing, running, riding my motorcycle and I LOVE CHOCOLATE. In fact, I would live off See’s Candy (Nuts and Chews) if I could.
I look forward to meeting you in my course and to partner with you for academic success.
