Second read: Strong Workforce Funds Review Local Share and Regional Share
Mallory Newell:
This was the second read for the strong workforce funds for local share and the regional share that were introduced last week. The budget proposal was approved by the CTE committee. With RAPP approval, it will advance to the College Council.
No objection to approving. Strong Workforce Funds were approved.
Thanks to Vins Chako for his work and presentation.
Instructions for Small Group Work
Erik Woodbury:
Some groups have expressed concerns about falling behind in their work.
Erik suggested the groups should divide up the reviews with someone taking the lead on each review. The groups were set up to bring unique viewpoints of the different constituencies to each program review. The idea was for everyone in a group to read all of their assigned program reviews. Getting through the reviews does take time, so please do take the time to do that.
There was some unevenness in the feedback from last year. The reason was that not every program review got the same level of attention. So moving forward, they wanted to make sure that every member looked at the reviews assigned to their group.
Mallory Newell:
All the groups were well on their way into the reviews. There were some issues with broken links that Mallory worked with the web team to fix them. Most of them were in the PSME area. Let Mallory know if there were any more error messages.
Annual Program Review Updates
Voting members went into separate breakout rooms in their respective working groups to continue their review work on the Annual Program Review Updates.
