Rubrics serve as a valuable tool for highlighting lesson objectives and preparing students for success by specifically presenting expectations. Rubrics provide clarity and consistency, as well as streamline the grading process, making it more efficient and equitable while minimizing bias. Participants will explore types of rubrics, their functionality within SpeedGrader, and techniques for constructing detailed criteria.

See what treasures await you in our Accessibility Toolbox including PopeTech! Making your online content accessible creates a more equitable learning environment for all students. Learn about tools available to scan and fix accessibility issues while building content in Canvas. We’ll address accessibility in the “Big 7” areas (headings, alt text, lists, links, tables, color, and captions) and which accessibility tool most effectively handles those issues. We will have time to answer specific questions about the Canvas Accessibility Checker and Pope Tech Accessibility Instructor Guide & Dashboard.
